Certain occupations and sports may require special "task specific" testing based on the visual demand. In addition to eye wear for general purpose use, various types of special purpose eye wear are available. Different occupations can impose demanding visual requirements on your eyes and may require lenses that are different than those for everyday use. Patients who use a computer can be tested with the PRIO® testing to determine the lens that will make your vision clear and comfortable while working at the computer. There is an extensive selection of speciality bifocals, trifocals and progressive addition lenses for all types of occupations and visual requirements. A variety of special eye wear is available for the safety and visual needs of sports enthusiasts, including prescription swim goggles, racquet sports protective eye wear, and polarized lenses for all types of water activities.
